Chicago Spring Fling

If your area is like mine, or worse even, all snow covered and you are sitting there waiting for more snow, six inchs they say for us tonight, well, you can have much more fun planning your trip to Chicago this spring. The Spring Fling will be May 29-31. You can go to the Chicago Gardeners Blog and get all the wonderful details. I hope to be there to meet all the garden bloggers that can make it.

Chicago, like Austin where they had the first Spring Fling, has wonderful garden centers, nurseries, Mortens Arboretum and private gardens of our dear blogging friends. Yes, there will some great places to see and experience. I hope to see you there.

  2. I'm really looking forward to meeting you Lisa! Thanks for helping get the word out.

I love the word verification I got today - it's warm pie, well, warmpie, but warm pie sounds good to me!

  3. Teri, I will definitely have a sketchbook and camera in hand.

GG, funny you should mention pie. My DB baked a rhubarb pie today and we just had a piece. Yummmmmm Rhubarb was grown in my DB's parents garden. I have tried to grow rhubarb but haven't had luck growing it.

  11. Beckie, it is a good idea to ask T if she would go with me. Maybe we could all drive up together??

Shirl, come on over. I will pick you up at the Chicago airport.

Cheryl, you could come too. Just fly into Chicago. What a blast that would be. You can fly directly from London to Chicago.

Nina, Yes, I have been to Clifty Falls before. It has been some years ago though. Brrrr it was awfully cold to be out there.
