Garden Bloggers Bloom Day - February 2012

This February is has been  rather mild for winter in general. It is just amazing to see that the plants have all been responding to the generous doses of sunshine and warmth not usually in evidence this time of year.

Other than Snowdrops or inside plants February doesn't normally offer much in blooms.  This February I am happy to say that some of the Hellebores are blooming. You can see that the one below is a little frost weary but it keeps on blooming.

The pussy willow is beginning to break open.
Amazing that there are crocus blooming. Just the big yellow ones and only in protected places.  All of this makes me anxious to see what might pop out any day now.
For more wintery blooms you can pop over to Carol's here to see what is blooming all over the world this month. Do you have blooms in your garden now?
