I agree it needs to be wide enough to be used and when your rose covers it you'll also need extra space to walk through. A great fall project, Lisa :-D

My fall project is to jump down into a hole and get my wildlife pond liner down before the frosts - will it happen, well that's another question. Perhaps today - while the sun is shining? I tend to buy flimsy things because I'm not sure I want to commit to anything installed in the garden, then I get upset when they fall apart : )

Your arbor looks like it will be a permanent addition and will add so much with a striking yellow rose on it.Laurriehttp://laurries.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-47631338540755500962013-09-24T16:13:26.858-04:002013-09-24T16:13:26.858-04:00How darling! No, I haven't been doing any projects lately, but Beckie and I saw something the other day (wish I could remember what it was) that I wished I could build--we both said, now if Lisa were here, she could help us in no time!

I'm so glad your begonias are happy; after admiring yours, I noticed one day that we have some similar ones growing in the Nursing Home garden. I'm hoping it's time to divide them and find a new home for some next year:)

Praying for rain here, too! I too k the dead pea vines out and then tried to dig the soil up where they were. I had to get a garden fork to do the job. Hard as rock! And dry, dry, dry. Your trellis is going to be lovely with those yellow climbers - scented ones I hope - mmmmmm .Cicero Singshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13438108795744902961noreply@blogger.com
