Lost a lot of foliage but seems to be coming back slowly. I think that should be less of a problem as you are a bit warmer than me. And I adore Monloo. We bought a second one last year. Ours first one is 11 years old and has spread horizontally quite a lot. But as it has an irregular shape it is easy to prune to control size.LINDA from Each Little Worldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02380944603357066650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-75072811427066118462014-09-02T20:52:19.207-04:002014-09-02T20:52:19.207-04:00Love evergreens but I'm only just learning how...Love evergreens but I'm only just learning how to use them to best effect. I bought one several years ago, spending more than I usually do, but when spring arrived after its first winter I found it eaten down to a nubbin by deer. I have to wait for a different deer free site before I plant it again. Which I hope to do.CommonWeederhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704682182459794221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-9291944506195467522014-08-31T07:39:26.050-04:002014-08-31T07:39:26.050-04:00Hanoki cypress are my favorite trees. We're still trying to figure out how to dig up the remains of our over-grown yews--we may have to rent a backhoe!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-2391825615544419042014-08-20T09:04:58.425-04:002014-08-20T09:04:58.425-04:00I love that little yew!
