I forgot all about my hyacinth bulbs and just set them out a few days ago, so I don't even have a bud to show. I always forget and get caught up in some other activity until this time of year arrives--and then I wish I'd thought of it earlier. I wonder if it's too late to find some bulbs somewhere out there. Maybe this will give me a little 'project' to think about -- as if I have nothing else to keep me busy! Your vases look so pretty next to the window. Very cheery. And when those hyacinths bloom it's going to smell like heaven;-)Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12844013803699228989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-79660726901386358462011-01-15T17:21:23.767-05:002011-01-15T17:21:23.767-05:00Have never tried forcing Hyacinths but have always...Have never tried forcing Hyacinths but have always love their blossoms - hope yours do well.RBellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02144562147128230710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-86680952834905585122011-01-15T16:18:45.193-05:002011-01-15T16:18:45.193-05:00I think ANYTHING should count for January. I am hoping my forced bulbs will be blooming for February. It looks promising. My one orchid had buds and only one flower open when I took its photo for GBBD. The other four orchids are stalks with small buds. Fingers are crossed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
