We only see them here at the end of winter when they are a dull yellow. I don't know what I'd do without phlox. It attracts more pollinators than many of my other plants. ~~DeeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-44327547962789857662014-08-27T14:04:12.883-04:002014-08-27T14:04:12.883-04:00What a great idea that meme. I've been chasing butterflies to photograph also in the past, but these days even if they are around i can't follow them anymore, as i am tending my hoyas. A weekend is not enough for both hoyas and butterflies.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06044386271018560595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-20690858501321902332014-08-18T04:24:43.153-04:002014-08-18T04:24:43.153-04:00What a beautiful collection of plants in bloom. I especially love the two swallowtails on your butterfly bush. I don't have any sunflowers, but the finches are certainly enjoying all the coneflowers here. I want to cut some of them down before they go to seed, but it's hard to do when I see the birds enjoying them so much. It's been a great summer, hasn't it?Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-40425582306074186182014-08-16T22:04:18.127-04:002014-08-16T22:04:18.127-04:00Great Swallowtail photos, I can't seem to get ...Great Swallowtail photos, I can't seem to get close to butterflies this year. I love the Milkweed Tussock moth caterpillar photo, I was just looking at them this week since I have so many bristly caterpillers living in my yard, and their beautiful but hard to see moths. I like the bees in the photos too.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1376606540097525538.post-19165765904452270232014-08-16T20:40:35.193-04:002014-08-16T20:40:35.193-04:00Wow, thanks for including all the wildlife visitor...Wow, thanks for including all the wildlife visitors in your bloom photos.
