I don't often fill vases full of flowers. Since it was Easter Sunday yesterday and this year the daffodils were blooming up a storm I thought it a good thing to pick a bunch for the dinner table.
I put the daffs in a rabbit pitcher. Since it was so chilly here during the day not everyone wanted to go outside to see them so they got to see them this way.
I also had a couple of tiny vases made up for the bathroom. I brought them out this morning since our bathroom doesn't have a window. I simply placed the small vases into the orchid pot. You can see the little grape hyacinths (left front) and the pink hyacinth on the other side of the pot. The small orchid to the right is also blooming. I think they look sweet together.
A touch of Spring insie Lisa. Very pretty. I love the tiny vase of grape hyacinth. Very sweet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl. I was trying to be cheerful. :)
DeleteOh these are so sweet....I adore the bunny pitcher full of daffs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna. I almost bypassed the bunny pitcher this year. I have been so mad at the rabbits in my garden.
DeleteReally pretty, Lisa! It will be at least a couple of weeks now before mine bloom with all the cold weather in the 10-day forecast. Thanks for sharing your vases!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome Beth. I couldn't believe I woke up to snow this morning. Geez. I think the Easter Bunny took spring with it when he headed out of town.
DeleteWhat a wonderful collection of daffodils you have! And the bunny pitcher couldn't make a better vase for them. The teeny tiny vases in the orchid pot are precious too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris.
DeleteSweet! It looks like your rabbit brought you a bouquet. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, they are usually eating my plants.
DeleteYour Daffodils look so lovely and bring a touch of Spring. Happy April!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lee, happy April to you too.
DeleteThey are beautiful! Happy Easter (day after.). Also, thanks for the reference- will take a peek now 🌷
ReplyDeleteI have a rabbit vase also. I inheirited it from my mom-in-law. What a great collection of different daffs you have. They make a lovely display.
ReplyDeleteLovely signs of spring ~ fun post and photos!

Dear Lisa,
ReplyDeletewhat a good idea to pick some lovely flowers from your garden. The bouquet looks very pretty! I have heard about "In a vase on Monday" but so far haven´t participated. Although I love having some flowers inside my home, I only rarely pick some from my garden. I love them so much in the garden so I always feel like something might be missing in my borders if I pick some of the blooms for inside. So, last year I decided to devote a small patch in my garden to some cutflowers. I planted the cutting garden patch full with tulip bulbs in autumn. The tulips aren´t blooming yet, but will soon and then I too will have my own cut flowers for vases. I am really looking forward to it. In your kind comment you left on my blog you wrote that you woke up to snow. I hope the snow didn´t stay.It is difficult to work in the garden if the ground is muddy. Last year we too had snow in April. I remember the tulips blooming, covered by snow. I hope this year it will be different. The last two weeks I was lucky with the weather. It was rather warm and sunny.
Enjoy your garden!
Best wishes,
Lisa
Those are some particularly nice Daffodils! None of mine have bloomed as of yet!
ReplyDeleteI love that bunny vase! Sweet! Also the daffodils are wonderful with that array of colors. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOh, daffodils for Easter!! I love your arrangements.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nan.
DeleteI'd love to have my own daffodils to fill in a vase, Lisa. I envy you and wait when my garden is cleared off snow. Very pretty vase!
ReplyDeleteWe were to have snow last night Nadezda. I don't think we got any but the pavement is wet and it is cold. The daffs in the garden will be all slumped over not looking so well. I hope your snow melts soon.
