Very nice. It is mostly a gray day here with some sunlight poking through now and then. We have reached our high of 28 today.
I don't see snow on the ground, did you all not get any? I am so thankful for the sunny day, I can't imagine these temperatures without the sunshine. It would be most unbearable.
That is beautiful! I just found your blog and thought I would pay you a visit. You have a very nice blog here!
Robin, we have had no snow to speak of, just a skiff one or two days. I agree, sun makes these low temps more bearable.
Welcome Cascia. Thank you for the complement.
Lisa, There really isn't anything as beautiful as blue skies after weeks of gray one! keep warm.Gail
Lisa, thankfully we've had sun too. I think God must have decided we needed a little bright to help us cope with the cold. :} We are having a heat wave here-it got to 7 today! Have a great weekend and stay warm.
Looking good Lisa! Love those wispy clouds. Sure does make those cold temperatures more bearable.
looks almost like someone took a white paintbrush and make some art into the sky! :)
Nice to see blue and white. I love the sky when it's in blue and white!
Cold but beautiful Lisa.....enjoy that yellow ball......Our skies are grey and it is raining......but at least it is not cold today......an aritc blast expected in the next few days....Have a fund weekend......
That should of course be fun weekend......oh dear....
Wonderful shot, Lisa! Those are the kind of clouds where fire rainbows are born. Have you ever seen one? I saw a small one about three weeks ago.--Randy
Randy, I don't suppose I have never seen a fire rainbow. I have never heard that term before. It sounds most interesting. I will have to google it to see what it is.Mon@rch, it is funny that you mentioned painting skies. I have found that the most difficult thing to do. I have never been pleased with any effor I have made to paint skies. They look so simple yet to get that texture and whispyness it is so difficult.
The ice blue of your sky looks like my cold sky.The sun does help.Stay warm.Sherry
Hi Lisa, I love the wispiness and the blue blue sky of your photos. Winter skies can be some of the prettiest of the year.Frances
Hi Lisa, lovely skies and the last one looked very windy and vivid. It really meens a lot to get sunshine now in January. Great pics.Tyra
