All I can say it is difficult to deal with change. This new Blogger format is not as user friendly in my opinion. I guess I will get used to it because the way I read it this is where it is going whether I like it or not. I will just try to ignore it. It seems that I have been ignoring my blog as it is. Even so the garden just keeps on growing.
I will probably not be blogging much in the near future. I am having issues that are difficult to deal with not withstanding my favorite photo reader has gone kaput ie: the one I can easily use and know how to use.
I will be lurking and cheering on all of you fabulous writers and bloggers holding my head up above it all.
Aww so sorry to hear this, Lisa. I completely get after working with something such a long time and everything you are used to changes. I never moved to wordpress knowing this change was ahead. I have to say I've found a change refreshing my interest in blogging again. I do hope you may feel the same when you are ready to do so. I have really enjoyed our comments exchanges over the years, you have very much be part of the blogging community I have enjoyed being part of. Enjoy your garden and I do hope we see you enjoying blogging again. Best wishes to you.
ReplyDeletePS you could get used to the changes and maybe they aren't as bad as you are thinking, I hope so :-)
I looked at the new blogger and reverted to the legacy tool, which you can still do, at least for awhile. I understand it's easier for people who blog - and read blogs - using mobile devices but I don't do that. Whether I'll adapt if/when the issue is forced, remains to be seen. At that point, Instagram may be easier. I already use IG (at krispeterson591) but I don't like it as much and I only use it to show photos I take using my phone, because that's easy. You might try IG if you haven't already.
ReplyDeleteI am mystified. I use Blogger and I have not noticed any changes. What am I missing???
ReplyDeleteBlogger seems no to have switched everyone - I am still on the old format but my husband's blog has been switched.
DeleteHonestly, I haven't found any real change. I seem to be able to do all the same things. Is it just blogger that is keeping you away? If so, you could email me and maybe I could help??
ReplyDeleteDear Lisa I was able to navigate the new blogger alright...used it once but of course went back to the old one until I have to switch. I am sure going to miss your beautiful posts. Hope after you take a break you will be back. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't really thrilled with the new blogger method of uploading and manipulating photos. So I went back to the old blogger. The new version seems to be for people who do everything on their phone which is not me.
ReplyDeleteI would miss your wonderful bird photos and comments. I've enjoyed your posts and your point of view.
I havent switched yet. Have not even explored. Not in the mood to learn more tekkie stuff. But like Kris said, you might like IG because you have wonderful photos. I am there @artzyjude but surrounded by bird people. But if you go, I will definitely follow you.
ReplyDeleteLisa girl say it isn't TRUE !!!
ReplyDeleteI never use my phone except to have it with me when I am driving on my own, in my car .. I use my computer for everything .. which is actually Blogger and email ? LOL .. I don't do face book .. just one of the few on earth I guess.
So far I haven't had any issues , until they drag me into the new blogger kicking and screaming ? .. I hope you hang on for a little while longer ? .. I too would miss you a great deal .. I have very few Blogger friends left on here .. I don't do IG ,because as I said I don't use my phone .. OMG how do I survive without it you may ask ? JUST FINE ! hahaha .. hope you won't disappear please !
Take care .. have a good weekend .. 80 days until Autumn !! LOL
I hope you can use the old style Blogger. I moved to Wordpress years ago and this year they updated the format that I hated, but I was able to keep the older one, the one I am used to. Thank you for visiting my blog and Nature Notes.. Michelle
ReplyDeleteYep, there is a learning curve to 'new blogger) practice ~
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support for my loss of my dear Yorkie ~ Xox

I hate it when they "improve" things. WordPress does this also. What it usually means is you can now do all kinds of stuff you're not interested in doing but how to do the stuff you want to do becomes really mysterious. Anyway. I'll keep an eye out for you - have a great summer.
ReplyDeleteMy blog seems to switch between old blogger and new blogger randomly which is bizarre. I don't like the new blogger but will probably get used to it.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know that I am not alone in this!
DeleteSo sorry you are having problems. I do hope you get things under control and come back to blog land soon.
ReplyDeleteHope your blog problems have straightened out ~ thanks so much for your supportive comments about my sweet Zoe ~ it is going to take time ~ she will always be in my heart ~
