Skywatch Friday

The gorgeous sun is melting away the snow. Our skies have been this gorgeous blue the past couple of days. The clouds in the background look like snow covered mountains to me. Even the fields are emerging and the Canada Geese are taking advantage of what is to offer in those fields.

I hope you have a great weekend. Skywatch Friday has lots of skies you can see here.

  1. Your fields are emerging?! We have at LEAST another month before that starts to happen. One hour south of us though, they have a lot less snow!

We had a beautiful sunny, blue, blue sky day yesterday too.

  5. Lisa, It hit 58 degrees here today--I thought it was spring! Isn't it wonderful to see blue skies and green instead of white once again?

  7. Wow - Lisa - I love that blue sky. It's so endless. i'm sure the geese were happy to see the sun for a change and to have some of the snow and ice melt away.

  9. Last year there was a small flock - just one family, really - of Canadian geese at a lake near our house. One had an injured wing, and we watched for about a month or two as the wing progressed from dragging on the ground to being held just a few inches lower than normal. Then they left.
I saw the same goose a few days ago, his wing still held just a little bit low; I'm glad to know he made it... not that that has anything to do with skywatching, your Canadian geese set off a chain reaction in my brain, sorry.

  10. I love watching geese move across a field. Like an army marching toward the promise of a new season.

  13. I'm a little late to arrive.

At first glance I did think those were snow covered mountains. How nice to have a mountain view even for a little while.
