It almost appeared like someone was folding up the clouds for the night. Then the moon started playing peek a boo behind the clouds.
For more sky watching from all around the world go here. Have a wonderful weekend.

The color is still so very soft and pretty. :c)
ReplyDeleteNot very nice weather over there, no? Did you manage do find any American woodcock?
ReplyDeleteLisa .. Very pretty pictures ! The moon drove me nuts last night .. slow to rise and hard to shoot .. the night before when I didn't have the tripod ready, the moon was fantastic of course ! LOL
ReplyDeleteGintoino, we didn't get the Woodcocks. We did see and hear some Snipe. They also have such unusual songs and flights.
ReplyDeleteNice SWF photos!
ReplyDeleteThe moon last night reflected on the frozen cove off our back yard. It was surreal.
That middle photo reminds me of ghostly fingers;) I'm always trying to find shapes in clouds.

Great shots Lisa! I enjoyed the progression of the changing cloud formations and the mysterious-looking moon. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think these sky photos look beautiful! The moon was gorgeous last night, but I can't take decent moon shots. The weather forecast for next week is looking really good--maybe some garden chores will finally get done here:)
ReplyDeleteI think clouds are so fascinating.
ReplyDeletePerhaps not a great sunset, but that is an awesome moonrise. gail
ReplyDeleteYour words and pictures are like poetry Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI love all the images here on Greenbow...they are a delight for the eyes!
The eagles nest shots are wonderful. I'm always amazed how big they are...and yet...the camera just does not translate the size. Your shots are some of the best I have seen that give an idea of the scale.
Lisa, I love the way you described the clouds, 'folding them'. And you always manage to get such good shots of the moon! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe sky looks like a lake to me, with ripples...very cool:-) Love your 'moon shots'!
ReplyDeleteDear Lisa,
ReplyDeleteNice sky shots. It has been cloudy here so no moon photos.
Did you hear the woodcocks?
I would love to see them displaying.
Sherry
Hi Lisa.....fascinates me to see how different the sky is each time you post......
ReplyDeleteI like your words.....folding the clouds.........and playing peek a boo.....
Our skies are dull and drear......
The moon looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clouds--gorgeous pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you captured these gorgeous views.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you described the changeing of the clouds...like a poet!
ReplyDeleteI adore all th images here but the last one really catch my attention.
ReplyDeleteI want to transform to an owl and fly high to reach the moon:)
Love the hellebores! Nice photos of the clouds to. Very pretty.
