It is a great honor that we live in this big beautiful country. I wish everyone the best that we have to offer due to all the brave who serve or have served our country. Happy Birthday America.
Lisa, great bouquet! I hope ypu have it putside where people can see it. Very patriotic. Did the rain dampen your plans? We had a paprade in the mist and at least 1 fireworks event has been canceled. But wahoo! We have rain. :)
Hi Beckie, no the rain didn't dampen our plans. We had canopies erected and the rain was just an annoying drizzle. We were in and out of the house. We didn't go to the parade this evening and aren't going to the fireworks. As I write the thunder is sounding. I hope they get the fireworks in before the storms commence.
That is a wonderful arrangement you have made there, Lisa. Artsy indeed. Glad to hear your fourth celebrations were not spoiled by a little rain too. The thoughts you have expressed here are perfect for us to remember as we think about how lucky we are to live where we do. :-) Frances
Yes, Happy Birthday America indeed! At church this a.m. we saw America the Beautiful. Always brings tears to my eyes. Your flowers are lovely, BTW.~~Dee
Lisa, You are very talented! A beautiful tribute with your patriotic bouquet! We watched the fireworks during a very heavy mist (nearly rain!) ha. It was still very moving and I always want to sing the Star Spangled Banner myself.
Dear Lisa, Happy late 4th! I was visiting a Paca-Vicuna Ranch picking up yarn! Very exciting day for me. Your 4th bouquet is lovely. The bee-balm is very pretty in red. Sherry
