Oh no... Lisa I'm so sorry to hear about Luna. I've enjoyed seeing her in your photos over the years. I decided not to have another pet. Its just too hard when they pass on. You are in my thoughts.

ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, like everyone above says, I too am sorry to hear Luna is no longer with you. I can only imagine what a loyal friend she has been to you and how much she has been part of your family. I hope she passed away peacefully and didn't suffer. ReplyDeleteI have some digital frames that run pictures and my Calico girls are on them .. I still haven't been able to run them and it has been years now.
It is such a hole in our hearts but it is so much better to face the loss .. and remember the wonderful times we had with them (easier said than done, I know)
She was a bright star in your lives.

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title, I thought it would be a humorous piece about an old high school boyfriend. Then I came and saw Luna, and said 'oh no' right out loud. I am so, so sorry. All of us who love our dogs know exactly what you are going through. And the pain never goes away. I'm not one who doesn't get other dogs though, and I think the joy of a pup can help ease (or at least distract from) that sadness.

Oh, oh, oh! What an empty hole. That ever present presence always at the ready ... gone. So sorry. I too have enjoyed Luna's pictures on your blog. She looked like such a solid, dependable soul ... one you get lulled into thinking will be around for a long time yet.

Oh my I feel as though I knew Luna from coming by your posts and seeing the treasured images of her.She appeared to be a gentle soul.Our fur babies are part of who we are and I know how much our hearts break in having to live without them.
