Fall Rains bring Fairies

It is a curious time of year. The fall rains chase us gardeners into the house temporarily while the garden fairies take this opportunity to come out and about.
Rose Campion chose this day to perch in a small dish garden inside. The tiny staghorn fern and earth star have landed here too.
Can you blame me for trying to capture this sweet creature?
I hope you are being playfully creative during these rainy days.

  2. What a cute little arrangement. Is this new or something you have had for awhile? I would bring more fun into the house but our cat eats things so they have to go up high or forget it, but under glass like this would work. :)

  3. So darling! Now I'm inspired for indoor fun. Of course, here it never seems to rain, but maybe that day will come!

  5. Omg! i adore how you caught this sweet fairy and now she lives an ideal life under glass. I've always heard they love the shininess of it and can live nice long lives, happily entertained by the glass! ;0

  7. I'm glad Rose Campion didn't get wet outside! Maybe if I had a glass cloche like this the cats would leave an indoor fairy garden alone:)

  8. Your flower fairy gardens are delightful. I wish I had had something like these when my daughter was little and very into the flower fairies.

  9. Veggie garden looks great and the giant utensils are wonderful. They are proof that sometimes it pays to hang onto things until you find just the perfect home for them! We had "rain" for three days and got just over a half an inch. Sounds like you are doing better.

  13. What an awesome arrangement for indoors. Luckily the rain has held off here and we've had beautiful fall days to work in. Love the sun and crisp temperatures this time of year.
