Fe Fie Fo Fum...

We were leaving yesterday and I happened to look at the roof. What was that??? There were tracks on our roof. What, or who in the world was on our roof traipsing around?? I don't think it was the crow that i sitting in the tree in the back garden.Upon further investigation we can see right where they hop onto the roof.
Yes, all tracks seem to fan out from here.
I believe we know who the culprits are.
I hope you are all having a nice weekend.
After I posted my DB decided to get a couple of pictures to add to the one I had. You can see there are several of these rascals about the garden. Cute but they can be destructive.

  1. Ahhhh... doesn't he look cute! And so innocent. But we know that looks can be deceiving!

    Enjoy your weekend, too!

  2. I thought it was going to be one of the flying squirrels!

Those creatures are all over our roof and always looking for a way in! (Nibble Nibble like a mouse...Who's been nibbling at my house?)

  3. Lisa,

While looking at your photos I had a flashback to winters in St Louis! I am letting my snow fantasies go!

Love the squirrel looking so cute and happy at Chez Greenbow! Every night we here some creature drop from a huge oak tree onto the roof and run over to the privacy gate and climb down! It is either a possum or a raccoon.

Have a good weekend and do keep warm!

  5. Lisa, I must not be fully awake yet, because I had no idea what had made those tracks:) Wonder if he has stored some nuts on your roof? Thanks for starting my day with a chuckle.

  11. I love the last photo. He looks lke he's found a safe place high above all that snow. I just imagine the squirrels are not used to that much snow either.

At least the sun is shinning there today and it looks a little warmer. We're having sun and a warm up too! Hurray! Have a great weekend.

  12. My squirrel tracks tend to also have part of the squirrels bottom in them, but it's space to say my snow is a lot deeper than that on your roof. My squirrels are fine; it's their groundhog cousins that damage my garden, but at least they hibernate.

  13. What a little cutie... we don't get those here - infact I've only seen 2 squirrels around here in 5 yrs - they were the little red ones with furry ears! Miranda

  20. So adorable rascals:)
    Indeed they are cute!

  21. They ARE cute! But I can say that because our squirrels stay away from the bird feeders, probably because of the cats. Even though the cat would likely lose in a confrontation, I don't think the squirrels know that!

  22. oh thats so cute! our fury animals only come out at night, so I just love the way squirrels get around in plain view!
