I don't often join in on this meme of shadows but we have had some much appreciated sunshine lately. I saw this shadow at our front door this week and thought I would share it. It seems to be welcoming spring with all its sunshine and color.
Have a great weekend!
Having lived in the Northeast for many years, I know how welcome a spot of sunshine can be after weeks of dreary weather. Nice capture!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you liked it.

Thanks Carol. I am liking anything that reminds me of spring right now. :)
DeleteI used to do this meme .. and you are so right about how we love that little spark of sun .. we NEED it here desperately !
ReplyDeleteI love your shadow ;-)
Thanks Joy. The sun really makes me feel happy. I seem to be more energetic when the sun shines.
DeleteSo cute! My first thought was "peacock" but I'm guessing it's a quail? Peacocks run loose on the peninsula here, imported into the area in the 1920s.
ReplyDeleteYou were right with your first thought. It is a peacock. My daughter gave me a metal peacock for my birthday last year. The quail around here don't have the top knot. They are Northern Bobwhite quail. Peacocks are so loud I can't imagine anyone wanting one as a pet. I guess they make good watch dogs so to speak.
Deleteabout the eggs. no, they are fake eggs. No dad here. But she needs to go through it to be emotionally and physically complete. I can only wish for grandbirds. xo
ReplyDeleteSunshine is often here, in our gardens, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteHappy women's day! I wish you joy and happiness, love and health.
