Skywatch Friday

While our skies are all cloudy and gray today I thought I would share a picture of the sunrise I took while we were out birding last week. The sun was working hard to burn off the steam from the lake. It couldn't quite do it. The temperatures were to conflicting. Does't that big yellow orb look warm. I can't wait to see it again.

  1. How beautiful. It looks like snow. It's been so gray here I wonder if the sun will ever come back.

  6. Beautiful shots. We didn't have fog today, but the snow was so heavy you wouldn't see very far. I invite you to come see my Coastal BC snow warning. -- Margy

  8. Lisa, we didn't have sunshine today. Just more of the same yucky weather that caused several deadly accidents just a few miles from me.

    Your pictures are beautiful!

  14. Dear Lisa,
Not only do I love seeing the sun so big and bright but the steam-fog on the lake rising is fantastic!
We are having yo-yoing temperatures and rain-snow-sleet and thunder. Crazy December skies!
Hope you have a great New Year's Eve.

  16. Lovely, lovely shots, like Impressionist paintings. If you painted that, no one would believe you it could be real.
