Signs of Spring

I was wondering why my sinuses were in an uproar this week. My DB pointed out that the Maple Tree is blooming. This answers my question. I love to look out and see these pinky/red blooms popped out on the limbs. It seems like they appear overnight.
Do you have any other signs of spring in your garden?

    Ah, yes, my eyes will soon be tearing as the maples gear up for their pollen explosion. Not everything about winter is bad.

    Such pretty blooms you have on the trees, Lisa. The elms are pollinating here and giving me some allergies, but we are mercifully at the end of the ravages of the cedar season, which incapacitates so many people around here. I hope your Maple allergies are short-lived but the blooms bring you lots of smiles.

    Soon I'll be surrounded by maples in bloom. Thank goodness I am not sensitive to it.

    All I can claim at this moment, are snowdrops blooming. There are crocus coming up from the earth. And the lilac buds are breaking open. Ah spring.

    Not ONE sign of spring here yet! Hey, wait a minute ... the seeds I ordered came in the mail today. Surely that is an indication!!!!

    That's funny, my maple hasn't budged! The most obvious sign of spring is the ciccadas (sp?) we heard outside on Valentines Day...

    One of our maples has those little red buds too. I love their splash of color! I'll have to go out and see if they're opening yet. I think it's too early. We're expecting snow today!

    No wonder they call Evansville the Miami of Indiana! LOL

    We do have daffodils poking a bit out of the ground on the south side of the house, but that's all.
