Oh how lovely! I didn't realise that there were yellow crocuses, I've only seen the mauve and the white varieties before. What a wonderful sight to welcome early spring.
I love that cheery yellow. Snowdrops are elegant and so welcome because they are so early, but Crocuses are happiness. Can't wait for mine to emerge from the frozen earth!
Delighted for you, Lisa and what a sunshine colour it is too! I am a crocus fan as you know :-) I didn't know I had my first crocus out until walking round the garden for GBBD. Saw my first big bumble bee today :-D
Congratulations, Lisa. Looks like you see the light from a crocus at the end of the winter tunnel. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWow . . . already? We are just settled in for a long haul of winter, no crocuses anywhere in sight! What a bright spot for you : )
ReplyDeleteIt'll be a while for us yet. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWow! How beautiful they are! Spring has surely sprung! I've been looking for mine, but they aren't showing their faces here!
ReplyDeleteThe first hope of spring! TERAH

ReplyDeleteI imagine your lovely crocus is about to be buried under a lot of snow. Mine are finally coming up and blooming now too.
